Whether distributed to inpatients, used in clinic waiting rooms or shared during playtime in our Dr. Bob and Jean Smith Child Life Center, your gift of new and unused educational and therapeutic toys, books, games and necessities serves a vital function. Real Estate & Securities

Real Estate
Our staff is experienced in facilitating a range of real estate gifts and can provide more information about this process. Please call the Development department at 214-559-7886 or 800-421-1121, ext. 7886, with questions or to discuss a proposed gift. Individuals will receive an income tax charitable deduction for their gift in accordance with the current Internal Revenue Code.

Securities
An individual may make an outright gift to Scottish Rite by transferring their stocks or bonds. A gift of securities entitles the individual to an immediate income tax deduction typically equal to the fair market value of the securities.

If the securities are held in “street name” in a brokerage account, the individual’s broker can electronically transfer the securities directly to Scottish Rite. If you are interested in making a transfer of assets by wire, please notify our Development department at 214-559-7886.

Giving Clubs

There’s no greater gift than offering hope and healing to a child. Scottish Rite for Children’s Giving Clubs are your way to help carry out our mission and make an ongoing commitment to support the life-changing care we provide. Your multi-year pledge provides big benefits for the children we are so privileged to serve. Scottish Rite for Children has created a place like no other for more than 100 years, and you are crucial in keeping our one-of-a-kind culture of giving children back their childhood for the years to come. Membership can be secured with a five-year pledge at one of two giving levels.

President's Club
President’s Club members pledge to give $1000 per year for five years.

500 Club
Members of the 500 Club commit to give $500 per year for five years.

To commemorate this loyal support, each member receives a personalized keepsake at the beginning of the membership and annual date tabs each year. After five years, members of the President’s Club and 500 Club can choose to renew their commitment and move up a level in membership.

For more details or to become a member, contact the Development team at 214-559-8464.
