19th Annual Spine Symposium
The 19th Annual Spine Symposium at Scottish Rite for Children is a full-day educational course focused on current treatment strategies and emerging research in pediatric spinal deformities. Attendees will receive updates on state-of-the-art approaches to managing complex spine conditions, with insights drawn from ongoing research initiatives at Scottish Rite for Children.
The program features expert-led lectures, interactive case presentations, and collaborative discussions facilitated by Scottish Rite’s faculty, fellows and residents. Designed for medical professionals with an interest in pediatric orthopedic spinal conditions, the course fosters multidisciplinary exchange and practical learning. We are honored to host Suken A. Shah, M.D., FAAOS, FAOA as our visiting professor for the event.
Biography
Suken A. Shah, M.D., FAAOS, FAOA, is Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Division Chief of the Spine and Scoliosis Center at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. He also holds the Shands/MacEwen Endowed Chair of Orthopaedics and serves as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
