Get to Know our SRH Staff: Lorenzo Vite, Sports Physical Therapy

What is your role at the hospital? What do you do on a daily basis? 
I evaluate and treat patients that come to us for sports physical therapy (PT). 
What led you to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children? How long have you worked here?
I helped establish the sports medicine PT department and have been with the hospital for four years. 
What do you enjoy most about Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children?
Progressing and guiding an athlete to return to play/sport. 

What was your first job? What path did you take to get here?
Outpatient sports physical therapy at Saint Paul Hospital (no longer in existence). Fortuitously, met Dr. Ellis and Dr. Wilson through athletic events. 
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play with my dogs - Lulu, a pit bull and London, a border collie. 
Three words to best describe you:
From patients/parent's comments - helpful, caring and available.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Swimming with turtles and dolphins in the sea as well as hiking in the Grand Teton National Park.
