Ashley Carroll-Brown, Ph.D.
Pediatric PsychologistAshley Carroll-Brown, Ph.D. is a pediatric psychologist who has a passion to treat children and adolescents with acute and chronic illness. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Louisiana State University and her master’s degree and Doctorate of Philosophy degree in counseling psychology from Louisiana Tech University. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric health psychology at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During her post-doctoral fellowship, Carroll-Brown focused on providing psychological evaluation and treatment to children with chronic illness and consultations to medical teams. She has experience working with children in hospital, primary care and residential treatment settings. At Scottish Rite for Children, Carroll-Brown supports teams across the Rheumatology, Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and specialty Orthopedics departments and is a member of the patient experience committee. Her clinical and research interests include providing integrated behavioral health care, providing trauma informed care, understanding the impact of trauma in children and providing coping assistance to those with acute and chronic illness/injury.
