Jill M. West, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist who provides psychological consultation and care to children at Scottish Rite for Children. She received her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in school psychology at Louisiana State University Health New Orleans School of Medicine and her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. Dr. West specializes in treating children with chronic or recurrent conditions that correlate with psychology. Her interests are in integrated care, consultation, preparing patients for surgery and improving outcomes after orthopedic surgery. She is an is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Psychological Science (APS) and the Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA).
