 Whitney Herge, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist at Scottish Rite for Children. Herge completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Mailman Center for Child Development in Miami, FL, working with a variety of interdisciplinary teams including completing juvenile justice mitigation evaluations, providing consultation-liaison care in diabetes and adolescent health clinics, and working with children with developmental differences at an early childhood center. She completed her supervised postdoctoral work at a private practice in Miami, FL, working with children, adolescents and families. Her interests are in integrated practice and care, psychosocial screening and preparation prior to major medical intervention (e.g., ITB pump implantation), as well as promoting the importance of transitional care.
