If you are worried about the cost of your child’s care, you are not alone. At Scottish Rite for Children, we treat all families regardless of their ability to pay. Our financial assistance program can help make care more manageable.
What Is Financial Assistance?
Scottish Rite offers financial assistance through a program called Crayon Care.
Crayon Care is not insurance. It is a financial assistance and charity care program that may help lower your out-of-pocket costs.
Depending on your situation, you may qualify for:
- Reduced costs for services
- A limit on how much your family pays
- Support based on your annual gross income, household size and medical expenses
Who Can Apply?
Any family receiving care at Scottish Rite can apply for financial assistance, regardless of income level or insurance type. Even if you are unsure whether you qualify, it is still worth applying. Many families are eligible for support.
How Financial Assistance Works
Eligibility is based on several factors, including:
- Household annual gross income
- Household size
- Medical expenses
Some families qualify for significant discounts. Others may have a limit on how much they pay over time. Our goal is to make your child’s care as affordable as possible.
How to Apply
Applying is straightforward and can be done in a few steps:
- Complete the Crayon Care application (English | Spanish)
- Provide proof of income
- Share recent medical expenses, if applicable
