Scottish Rite for Children provides access to pricing information to help you understand the cost of care. We make our standard hospital charges available and offer tools to estimate your costs. This information is intended to help you make informed decisions before your child receives care.
Estimate Your Costs
Before your visit, you can use our online tool to estimate the cost of your child’s care based on your planned services and insurance coverage.
Please note that estimates are not a guarantee of final charges. Your estimated out-of-pocket costs may vary based on your insurance coverage, medical condition and services provided. Additional patient responsibility may apply, including co-payments and deductibles.

Standard Charges (For Transparency)
Scottish Rite for Children provides standard charge files. These files:
- Are large, technical files intended for research and regulatory use
- Do not reflect what you will pay out of pocket
- Do not include insurance adjustments or financial assistance

Your Rights & Protections
No Surprises Act
As of January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act provides patients with protections against unexpected medical bills.
You are protected from surprise billing in certain situations, including:
- Emergency care
- Care from from an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center
In these situations, you should not be charged more than your plan’s in-network copayments, coinsurance or deductible.
Good Faith Estimates
If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate. This estimate outlines the expected cost of care before your visit.
