Care Philosophy

“I believe great care begins with human connection and trust, built through empathy, compassion, clear communication, and collaboration. My goal is to cultivate a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where patients and families feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. I value listening closely and partnering with families to make thoughtful patient-centered decisions together. This means taking time to understand each child’s goals, explaining injuries and treatment plans in a way that is easy to understand, and empowering families to ask questions and share concerns. As an athlete, I understand how important movement, sports, and athletic identity can be for children and adolescents. I strive to help each patient safely return to the activities they love while feeling supported every step of the way. Because every child and athlete is different, I focus on providing individualized care that reflects their unique goals, sports, and life circumstances, while also promoting well-being, confidence, and long-term health. As a clinician educator, I am committed to a humanistic approach to medicine that is both evidence-based and supportive, with a desire to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.”
