Care Philosophy
Shayla L. Derousseau, M.D.“I was drawn to pediatric anesthesiology because it allows me to care for children during some of their most vulnerable moments. I find it incredibly meaningful to ease a child’s fear, reassure their family and provide safe, compassionate care throughout the surgical experience. Knowing that I can help make a stressful day a little easier is what continues to inspire me.”
