Real Estate & Securities

Real Estate
Our staff is experienced in facilitating a range of real estate gifts and can provide more information about this process. Please call the Development department at 214-559-7886 or 800-421-1121, ext. 7886, with questions or to discuss a proposed gift. Individuals will receive an income tax charitable deduction for their gift in accordance with the current Internal Revenue Code.

Securities
An individual may make an outright gift to Scottish Rite by transferring their stocks or bonds. A gift of securities entitles the individual to an immediate income tax deduction typically equal to the fair market value of the securities.

If the securities are held in “street name” in a brokerage account, the individual’s broker can electronically transfer the securities directly to Scottish Rite. If you are interested in making a transfer of assets by wire, please notify our Development department at 214-559-7886.

Scottish Rite was built not to look, smell or feel like a typical children’s hospital. Much of our unique culture is best experienced firsthand through a guided tour. We invite your organization to visit us and experience the many miracles taking place here each day. Tours are available by appointment for groups of any size.

Share a Hospital Video
There is a wide range of videos available to share at your next meeting or charitable event on Scottish Rite's YouTube channel. The video topics range from moving patient testimonials to stories about our groundbreaking research.
