More Ways to Give

Toys, Books & Games

Whether distributed to inpatients, used in clinic waiting rooms or shared during playtime in our Dr. Bob and Jean Smith Child Life Center, your gift of new and unused educational and therapeutic toys, books, games and necessities serves a vital function. These items provide our patients with tools that keep them intellectually stimulated and emotionally at ease before, during and after treatment and therapies.

Real Estate & Securities

Real Estate
Our staff is experienced in facilitating a range of real estate gifts and can provide more information about this process. Please call the Development department at 214-559-7886 or 800-421-1121, ext. 7886, with questions or to discuss a proposed gift. Individuals will receive an income tax charitable deduction for their gift in accordance with the current Internal Revenue Code.

An individual may make an outright gift to Scottish Rite by transferring their stocks or bonds. A gift of securities entitles the individual to an immediate income tax deduction typically equal to the fair market value of the securities.

If the securities are held in “street name” in a brokerage account, the individual’s broker can electronically transfer the securities directly to Scottish Rite. If you are interested in making a transfer of assets by wire, please notify our Development department at 214-559-7886.

President's Club
President’s Club members pledge to give $1000 per year for five years.

500 Club
Members of the 500 Club commit to give $500 per year for 5 years.
