Physician Assistant

Ben Johnson, P.A.-C.,  A.T.C., is a physician assistant at Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco with more than 15 years of experience in sports medicine and orthopedic care. He joined the team in December of 2019 and primarily assists Henry B. Ellis, M.D. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Master of Athletic Training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota. Ben is a member of the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society. His primary interests include the evaluation and management of pediatric and adolescent sports injuries, as well as arthroscopic hip and knee surgery.
