Camps

Safe, condition-specific camps that build confidence, independence and connection.

Scottish Rite camps give your child the chance to grow in a safe, supportive environment. Each camp is designed for children with specific diagnoses, such as arthrogryposis, arthritis, limb differences, cerebral palsy, or hand differences. Campers build independence, confidence and connection through shared experiences.

Our Approach to Camps

At Scottish Rite, we focus on what your child can do, not what they cannot. Activities are adapted so campers can participate successfully and build confidence at their own pace.

Camp provides a positive, “can do” environment where children are encouraged to try new experiences. Many campers meet peers with similar conditions for the first time and form meaningful connections.

Camps are part of our Therapeutic Recreation program. They are supervised 24 hours a day by counselors and medical staff made up of Scottish Rite staff and trained volunteers. Before camp begins, your child’s medical information is reviewed to help ensure participation is appropriate and safe.

Our Camps

Scottish Rite provides access to three specialty camps. Each is designed for specific diagnoses and age groups.

Each camp has defined eligibility criteria and an application process. Some camps require your child to be an active patient of Scottish Rite for Children. All camps require an application.
