Educational Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
  1. Discuss commonly encountered acute ankle injuries in a young athlete.
  2. Discuss considerations for safe return to play after an ankle injury.
  3. Discuss evidence-based ankle injury prevention and rehabilitation considerations after an ankle injury.
Purpose and Content: This monthly case presentation series will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to identify and manage skeletally immature patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Physicians, advanced practice professionals, athletic trainers, nurses and other healthcare professionals who treat or counsel patients with sports related musculoskeletal injuries and complications should attend.
 
Target Audience: Open to all health care providers working with young athletes to prevent, recognize and treat injuries. This includes physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, physical therapists and athletic trainers.

No registration or fee required to attend. Cancellation or schedule changes will be updated on this page. No equipment or materials are required for participation.
