Dyslexia 4-1-1 for Parents

Scottish Rite for Children and the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders is offering a one-day seminar designed for parents of children with dyslexia in the Texas public school system. This seminar is for those parents who want more information on dyslexia, laws, intervention and accommodation support.

This seminar will highlight:

  • An in-depth study of the definition and characteristics of dyslexia
  • Texas Education Agency dyslexia handbook and how it applies to parents
  • Parents’ role in supporting the use of accommodations for students with dyslexia
  • Understanding the components and delivery of an effective intervention model
  • Question and answer time

Come and learn the facts and debunk the myths about dyslexia at our Frisco facility.

There is no fee for this seminar. The downloadable registration form may be printed and completed by hand, or the information may be typed onto the document, saved, and emailed or faxed. If preferred, the completed form may be mailed. Information is provided on the form.
