Bryan Buison is an orthopedic technician who has been working at our North Campus in Plano for the past year and a half. Learn more about him in our staff spotlight below.

Casting and splinting for fracture care, general ortho and sports medicine
How did you find out about the hospital?
I’ve known about the hospital since I was a child
What made you want to work here?
Drs. Wilson and Ellis and their team
What skills do you need for your job?
Patience, attention to detail, friendliness to patients and families
What was your first job? What path did you take to get here?
Surgical technician in the USAF, I had to specialize into orthopedics for a promotion and here I am years later.

Hospital event: The annual picnic
Food in the cafeteria: Those pre-packaged calorie bomb brownies

Teleportation, I would be on a beach in Hawaii every day after work

A brontosaurus (I was not a very bright kid)

Disaster relief during a hurricane

A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul G. Tremblay

An arctic fox

I am a pretty open book, I can’t think of something that I haven’t blurted out at some point in the breakroom during lunch…
