Helping More Kids Move Freely in Frisco

We’re growing! We’re thrilled to announce that Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center is now open in Frisco.

Our world-renowned experts have been dedicated to giving children back their childhood for nearly 100 years. While we will continue to provide pediatric orthopedic care at our Dallas campus, this milestone marks our first-ever major expansion.

Here are answers to questions you might have about our new facility.

How do I get to the Frisco location? Where should I park?
Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center is located at the northeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road. When traveling on the tollway, take the John Hickman Parkway/Lebanon Road exit. Get driving directions here.

Patient parking is available on the west side of the building and provides direct access to the main entrance.

Is the Plano location still open?
No, all services previously offered in Plano have moved to Frisco. Please contact us if you have questions about your follow-up appointment.

What services are available in Frisco?
At Scottish Rite for Children, we are focused on healing muscles joints and bones – from sports injuries to orthopedic conditions to fracture care and everything in between.
The Frisco campus is the new home of the sports medicine practice. In addition, we offer orthopedic care for conditions such as scoliosis, limb differences, and hand, hip and foot disorders.

All of the services from our Plano clinic have moved to Frisco, including a fracture clinic, orthotics and prosthetics, radiology, physical, occupational and sports therapy services. We’re also introducing new services, such as MRI, a rheumatology clinic, infusion services, imaging facilities and expanded support services from our family services team.

Our leading-edge movement science lab will allow us to use motion-capture technology to analyze how patients run, jump and play in order to better develop treatment.

See our future clinic hours below:

  • Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Patients: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Fracture Patients: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Fracture Walk-In Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. (Must have X-rays on a disc)

Will my child’s provider stay the same?
Yes! We value our relationships with each of our patients, and care is personalized to help each one run, play, participate, compete and have the chance to realize their dreams.

Patients previously seen in Plano will continue to receive care from the same great team of pediatricians, orthopedic surgeons, therapists, athletic trainers and other expert caregivers whom they know and love.

A patient previously seen in the Dallas location may be offered an opportunity to transition care to Frisco if the same provider and necessary clinical resources are available to support the unique needs of that patient.

What else does the Frisco campus feature?
Scottish Rite for Children was designed with kids and families in mind. Just like our Dallas campus, it doesn’t look, feel or smell like a hospital.

A vibrant, free-flowing sculpture greets patients at the entrance, while the smell of freshly-popped popcorn wafts through the air. Colorful lights – both inside and out – fill the hallways and illuminate the sky.

Our new facility has a grab-and-go market for snacks and drinks, a gift shop and a conference center. The campus grounds include a welcoming landscape with open areas, playing fields and walking trails.

Soon, we will also open a state-of-the art movement science lab and an inclusive playground for our patients and the community.
