Local Medical Professionals Gather to Learn From Our Experts
Over the weekend, Scottish Rite Hospital hosted the Pediatric Orthopedic Education Series (POES). This one-day program invites pediatricians, physician assistants, family practitioners and other medical professionals from the local community to learn from our experts. Staff hand surgeon Christine Ho, M.D., served as the program director and hospital staff made presentations and led patient demonstrations during the course.
Throughout the day, attendees heard from our multidisciplinary team on various topics within pediatric orthopedics. Orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, psychologists, rheumatologists and others shared their expertise and provided a well-rounded educational program. Topics presented included:
The Injured Teenage Athlete
As leaders in pediatric orthopedics, our experts are here to be a resource to other health care providers. We are committed to providing the best possible care to our patients and will continue to share our knowledge to advance the care and treatment for children around the community.
