Sucato Has Major Role in Pediatric Spinal Deformity Course

Recently, Chief of Staff Daniel J. Sucato, M.D., M.S., traveled to Coral Gables, Florida to participate in an annual spine course – Pediatric Spinal Deformity: On the Cutting Edge VII. This two-day meeting included orthopedic and neurological surgeons, as well as fellows, residents and other medical professionals. Attendees came together to collaborate, debate and discuss the latest treatment techniques and challenges regarding complex spinal disorders. 

Sucato served as a faculty member and participated throughout the sessions as a presenter, panelist and moderator. Topics he discussed and shared his expertise included:
  • Idiopathic scoliosis
  • Neuromuscular deformities
  • Kyphosis in AIS
  • Techniques in caring for complex scoliosis
