Angie Buckmeier joined the staff of Scottish Rite for Children in May 2022 as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer..

As a tertiary referral center for children with complex orthopedic needs, Angie works closely with the nursing staff and physicians to ensure a safe environment that provides the highest quality of patient care for all the children of Scottish Rite. In her role, she is also responsible for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement throughout the organization and develops and sustains an environment that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care that supports positive patient outcomes.

Angie is a native of Louisiana and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisiana Monroe and her Master's degree in Health Care Administration and Management at the University of Phoenix. Before joining Scottish Rite, she served in various staff nursing and progressive leadership positions throughout DFW. Angie is certified in Obstetrics and Neonatal Quality and Executive Nursing Practice.
