Fredric D. Richmond
Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
Fred Richmond joined the staff of Scottish Rite for Children as Chief Investment Officer in 2013. Prior to joining Scottish Rite, Fred was Chief Investment Officer at the national office of the Boy Scouts of America. Prior to joining the Boy Scouts in May 2000, he was the Assistant Administrator – Investments for the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System. Prior to joining the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System in November 1994, he was with the Dallas office of Mercer Investment Consulting. Fred’s investment experience dates back to 1978 when he joined Dean Witter’s headquarters staff in San Francisco, California.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas Fort Worth.
