Sharon Maples
Chief of Business Development – Strategy
Sharon Maples joined the staff of Scottish Rite for Children as Chief of Business Development – Strategy in 2016. She is passionate about developing and implementing strategic initiatives, as well as leading health care teams through operational processes to improve the quality of their care.
Sharon earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Prior to joining the team at Scottish Rite, Sharon supported large physician group practices as a health care consultant and served as CEO of UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Vice President for University hospitals, UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a member of the International Women’s Foundation and Texas Women’s Ventures, and has been active with the American Heart Association.
