Sports Physical Therapist

Jacob Landers, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S., CSCS, completed his BS in Exercise at the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 and his DPT from Texas State University in 2015. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and utilizes strength and conditioning principles to optimize outcomes with his patients. He is also recognized as a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. He started with SRC in December of 2021 is excited to get children back to the field/court/rink to keep learning those life lessons that sport teaches best. Primarily, he is passionate about knees injuries, especially ACL tears and seeks to improve outcomes for this specialty population. He enjoys working with soccer, football and ice hockey athletes especially. Personally, he enjoys anything outside, especially camping with his wife and 4-year-old daughter. Having previously competed in elite youth ice hockey, powerlifting and completed a marathon he is always up for a challenge and asks of himself the same that he asks of his patients: “to get better every day”
