Scottish Rite Hospital Hosted Dallas ISD Educational Nurses Conference

On Friday, August 16, our hospital hosted the 2nd annual Dallas Independent School District’s Educational Nurses Conference. 
 
This one-day course cultivated education from hospital experts on their best practices within their respective areas of expertise. This year’s conference included presentations to educatemore than 200 nurses from Dallas ISD for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
 
Presentations from Scottish Rite Hospital experts included:
  • Scoliosis: What School Nurses Need to Know 
  • Dyslexia, ADHD and Behavior Issues in the School Setting    
  • Concussion: The School Nurse’s Perspective 
  • Executive Function Challenges: Strategies for the School-Aged Child        
  • Leg Length Discrepancies
